This turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I've so far cut 60-70 oak and privet trees that range between 2 and 4 inches. You do need to wear safety glasses, make sure the chain stays adjusted for proper tension and keep the chain oiled (like any chainsaw). Battery life is good and its light weight is a real plus. I remove it when not cutting for safety. Much faster and easier to use than loppers.
